North Korea Has Banned Laughing, Drinking, Celebrating BIrthdays, And Buying Food For 11 Days To Honor The 10 Years Of Kim Jung-Un's Rule

North Korea has banned laughing for 11 days to mark 10 years of Kim Jong-un’s rule, and commemorate the anniversary of the death of his father.

Any sign of happiness, alcohol, celebrating birthdays and food shopping have all been banned to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the death of Kim Jong-il, the current dictator’s father.

The restriction included banning laughter, and began on December 17, ten years after Kim Jong-il’s death.

A North Korean from the border city of Sinuiju, told Radio Free Asia: “During the mourning period, we must not drink alcohol, laugh or engage in leisure activities.

“Even if your family member dies during the mourning period, you are not allowed to cry out loud and the body must be taken out after it's over."

MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HOLIDAYS! WIPE THAT SMILE OFF YOUR FUCKING FACE OR YOU'LL BE EXECUTED BY ANTI AIRCRAFT GUN

North Korea is really out there just putting out official decrees to explain the everyday way of life for the Hermit Kingdom. It is pretty easy to not shop for food when the country has no food. That'd be like Illinois imposing a no orgy ban on me. Like...okay. That wasn't going to happen under any circumstances anyways.

There is a thing called "English Common Law" which is basically judicial decisions based on common customs or precedent. This is North Korea common law. Oh hey...no joy...no problem. Just another day in North Korea. If your dad dies, throw him out the window because there is only one death that matters and that is the death of the Great Leader. Funerals and birthdays are expensive anyways. If you can afford food you definitely can't afford joy. So just ban it. Who cares.
